Sambouie Academy collects only information required to operate the platform and support a child’s learning journey.

Child Information:
- First name or nickname
- Date of birth
- Learning activity data (lessons, notes, uploads, milestones)
We do not collect addresses, phone numbers, biometric data, voice recordings, or unnecessary identifiers.

3. Who Can Access Child Data?
- The parent or legal guardian
- Limited Sambouie administrators (support only)
Children’s data is never visible to other families.

Sambouie Academy does not sell, rent, disclose, or share personal data.
We do not use advertising networks or third-party trackers targeting children.
5. Parental Rights (COPPA)
Parents may:

- Delete all child records

6. Data Retention
Data is retained only while an account is active.
When a parent requests account deletion, access to the account is disabled and the account is scheduled for permanent removal.
For security, compliance, and operational integrity, deletion may not occur immediately. Data is permanently erased within a reasonable timeframe, unless temporary retention is required to:
- Comply with legal or regulatory obligations
- Resolve disputes or billing issues
- Prevent fraud, abuse, or misuse of the platform
Once deletion is complete, all associated child data is permanently removed and cannot be recovered.
